As a Religious Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the secondary age range. You will encourage students to explore a range of religious, philosophical and ethical issues while developing their critical thinking and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience teaching RE across KS3 and KS4, with experience of GCSE Religious Studies being highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons across the secondary curriculum.
- Teach students across KS3 and KS4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Religious Studies examinations.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the RE/Humanities department.
- Support the wider life of the school and contribute to students' personal development.

- Has experience teaching Religious Education or Religious Studies within a secondary school.
